With the increasing prevalence of intelligent technology in our lives, it is becoming more and more difficult to imagine a time without smartphones and the internet. Sometimes, we may inadvertently reminisce about a more pure way of living and communicating.
Recording and writing carry so much meaning, and the tools used to accomplish these functions have become increasingly complex with advancements in production technology. We are thinking about whether we can achieve these pure and simple goals through more direct means, not by going back to the past, but by looking to the future.
THIMPLE
THIMPLE is a new term that combines the words “THINK” and “SIMPLE”, and is named “想简” in Chinese. We hope that both our users and ourselves can solve the various difficulties in learning and work with simpler ideas.

In order to increase memorability, we have made a simple symbolization of the central letter “i” in THIMPLE, without compromising the brand’s overall simplicity and visual integrity. This symbolization also signifies that the products under the brand will maintain a simple form and structure, without excessive consumption of materials while fulfilling the necessary functional and emotional needs.

Based on the description, it sounds like the central symbol [i] in the THIMPLE logo is emphasized in the actual product. The symbol is given the most prominent visual placement and is integrated into a simple and cohesive design. Additionally, the [i] serves a functional purpose as a pen clip.


On the other hand, for easy recognition and pronunciation, we have designed a complete visual identity system for the Chinese name of the brand, “想简” (xiǎng jiǎn). It will also appear on product packaging and related promotional materials.


As a new brand, we are more focused on looking forward to the future rather than looking back on our history and experiences. This is not because we have nothing to say about our past, but because we believe that every thought and action we take now can have a positive impact on the future.
